UEFA said Tuesday it will allow increased 26-player squads at this year’s European Championship, meeting a demand of coaches who feared players would be sidelined after testing positive for Covid-19.

European football’s governing body said it had agreed the increase from 23 players “to mitigate the risks of teams facing a shortage of available players for certain matches due to possible positive COVID-19 tests results and subsequent quarantine measures”.

Destiny 2 Update 3.2.0 Patch Notes: Season of The Splicer, Vault of Glass and more

Destiny 2 update 3.2.0 is finally here. The Season of the Splicer has gone live. And with that, Guardians receive a plethora of new items.

Bungie has always been consistent with the patch notes for Destiny 2, unlike Epic Games, who have stopped releasing patch notes for Fortnite. Destiny 2’s 3.2.0 update will bring some interesting new changes to a few in-game mechanics. Some abilities will be nerfed while a few will be boosted. Here are the consolidated Destiny 2 update 3.2.0 patch notes.

Destiny 2 Update 3.2.0 patch notes : New Activities

The Season of The Splicer sees the return of the Vault of Glass Raid. Apart from that, players will have access to a new 6-man activity known as Override. There’s also a new weekly pinnacle activity called Expunge that players will be able to participate in, the moment the Season of the Splicer goes live.

The Gambit, Crucible and the Vanguard Strikes remain the same. For now, there’s no information on a new strike being added. However, Bungie may pull off a surprise and add one later on.

Destiny 2 Update 3.2.0 patch notes : Weapons and Armor

Like every season of Destiny 2, the Season of the Splicer will also feature seasonal armor. However, earning seasonal armor will be slightly different this time. Guardians will stand a chance to earn seasonal armor by completing seasonal activities.

Players can also get guaranteed drops on these items by focussing on Umbral Engrams. It’s good to see that Bungie chose to keep these Umbral Engrams in the Season of the Splicer.

Moving on to weapons, there are three new guns that guardians will earn from the season pass, provided they’ve bought it. The side arm will be the first weapon they earn, and the machine gun and the shotgun will unlock as they progress through the season pass. Guardians will be able to complete the full load out by successfully completing the Override simultaneously.

The Crucible, Gambit and the Vanguard Strikes each have four weapons that players stand a chance to earn by completing these activities.

Other than that, there are loads of weapons that guardians can grind for in order to get that perfect roll. There are a few new exotic weapons and armor that are also added in this season.

Destiny 2 Update 3.2.0 patch notes : Reworks

Destiny 2 now has colorblind support for a few stasis abilities. Enemy tags in the Crucible also have colorblind support.

Hunters

The area of effect for the Silence and Squall has been reduced from 12 m to 8.5 m, and the enemy squall will now have a red ring, defining its movement area.

Warlocks

The Chaos Reach super has been adjusted. It won’t be able to penetrate thin walls and kill enemies on the other side anymore.

Titans

Guardians won’t be able to trigger Whisper of Torment by standing in the enemy’s barricade anymore.

Destiny 2 Update 3.2.0 patch notes : UI adjustments

Nav mode

When accessing their Ghost, guardians will be treated to a new Nav Mode in Destiny 2. Bounties appear separately and can’t be tracked anymore. Guardians can now find their Tracked Triumphs as a separate tab on their Nav Mode.

H.E.L.M

The H.E.L.M. is no longer located at the Tower. It has its own map in the Season of the Splicer. Bungie has also added an auto decrypt feature for Umbral Engrams that are focussed.

UI

The director now has legends, something that was missing for a good while now. There’s also a new keyboard shortcut for switching between the quest details and the quest step notification.

Destiny 2 Update 3.2.0 patch notes : Glory, Valor and Infamy

Glory, Valor and Infamy mechanics will receive a major overhaul next season. They’ve been tweaked slightly to fall in line with the overhauls. But the tweaks aren’t that prominent, and players won’t really notice that much of a difference.

Destiny 2 Update 3.2.0 patch notes : Eververse

Bungie has given in to the community and has added many exotic weapons and armor ornaments from previous seasons to the archive at Eververse.

Spawn trails and shaders are now standalone items in the game. Once the guardians unlock a new shader, it stays unlocked permanently.

The Season of the Slicer is finally live and those interested in reading the full patch notes can find them here.

Fortnite Surfboard locations: How to find and use it in Creative mode?

The warm summer weather of 2021 is just around the corner, which means Fortnite developers are bringing surfboards and other fun in-game items to players so they can bask in the sun alongside Peely.

Fortnite Surfboard locations: How to find and use it in Creative mode?

For Fortnite players to access the new in-game surfboard, they will need to enter Creative mode instead of the typical Battle Royale mode.

From here, players can enter their toolboxes and locate the Surfboard Spawner, which will allow loopers to place surfboards wherever they would like. Once the surfboards are placed and spawned, players can approach them and climb aboard using their controller’s action button.

Once Fortnite players manage to mount their surfboards, the water will propel them forwards or backwards. Players can use the motion of the ocean to enjoy some summer fun, though they have the option of an additional boost, much like driving a boat in Fortnite’s Battle Royale.

In addition to surfboards, developers have also added boats, fishing poles, and fishing zones to Fortnite’s Creative mode. The official FNCreative Twitter account also announced just hours ago that a Creative contest has begun for players who would like a chance to share their summer fun with everyone.

The Summer Creator Callout contest encourages players to embrace all of the tropical and seasonal items added to the Creative mode of the game. Loopers who create an engaging and enjoyable map for players to participate in will be featured in the currently unrevealed Fortnite Summer event.

On their official page regarding the Summer Creator Callout contest and all of the new seasonal items to be found in-game, Epic Games encourages players to think outside of the box via creating boat races or fishing competitions.

Loopers that are hoping to be featured in the soon-to-be-announced Fortnite Summer event as a result of entering the Summer Creator Callout contest should fill out the Creative Content Submission form and have their submission ready by June 11th, 2021.

Barcelona and Juventus planning another swap deal – Reports

After completing a swap deal for Miralem Pjanic and Arthur last summer, Barcelona and Juventus are considering a similar move involving one of those players.

According to Barca Universal via RAC1’s Gerard Romero, the Blaugrana are planning to bring Rodrigo Bentancur to the Camp Nou, with Pjanic returning to the Bianconeri as part of a swap deal. The Bosnian has failed to impress since joining Barcelona and could be heading back to Juventus at the end of the season.

Pjanic’s season has been marred by injuries. He has appeared 28 times for Barcelona but has struggled to find a footing at the Camp Nou when fit. The Bosnian arrived at the Camp Nou at the top of his game and the Catalans were expected to benefit from his wealth of experience.

Unfortunately, Pjanic has failed to deliver, and while Arthur has not fared any better at Juventus. The move will go down as another one of former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu’s most controversial transfer decisions.

Bentancur, on the other hand, has been pivotal for the Bianconeri this season and has firmly established himself in the first team. The Uruguayan has already appeared 42 times for Juventus and has registered four assists this season.

It is easy to see why Barcelona want him given that Bentancur has been consistently performing well since joining the Bianconeri in 2017. The Catalans have been linked with the Uruguayan before. However, they have not attempted a move to sign the 23-year-old so far.

It is hard to imagine Juventus letting Bentancur leave this summer. However, the two clubs have a cordial relationship. Keeping in mind the massive squad overhaul the Bianconeri are planning this summer, Pjanic might just be welcomed back at Turin.

Barcelona and Juventus have a very important summer ahead of them. Both clubs are expected to be busy in the transfer market. However, given the way their respective seasons are unfolding, their strategies in the market could be quite different.

The Catalans are still in the La Liga title race with three games remaining in the season. Barcelona are only two points behind leaders Atletico Madrid and could still wrestle the title away from their rivals.

The Bianconeri, on the other hand, have already surrendered their Serie A title to Inter Milan. Juventus are currently fifth in the table and could also miss out on qualifying for the next season of the Champions League.
